I have been reading a book called "Being Aware Of Being Aware" by Rupert Spira. It goes into a lot of detail about the experience of meditating. I like it. I have a number of 'being mindful' type of books. From the book, 'Dancing with Life': "By being mindful, you can train or condition your mind to be more mindful. It is not unlike training the body and mind to play piano... You learn forms in order to train the mind, in the same way that a pianist learns scales. You learn what to pay attention to in the same way a dancer learns to feel the music and to be aware of her body and her partner's"

It's Christmas Eve and we have a list of carols from the Nursing Home my mother-in-law resided. My piano has a long history of being played during the holidays. People in the room have the music sheets as well and I play as softly as I can so that the choir is noticeable. It's amazing how much range between piano and forte there is on my piano.
I ran into Brad at the fitness club. He played at the Whiskey Lounge a few weeks back. I let him know I checked the place out. It has a very nice atmosphere. Lots of art. Brad says he played electric piano there for 3 hours for one event. He likes electric piano. I've always preferred acoustic pianos.
You can now refer a person to join the Global Piano Network part of this Web3 extravaganza.
To bring in the new year I have recording of Auld Lang Syne here.
